Cristiano Ronaldo continued to make history on Friday night, further adding to his legendary goal tally as he netted twice in Al Nassr’s 2-0 victory over Damac in the Saudi Pro League. His first goal came from the penalty spot, where he confidently struck the ball low and hard into the bottom-left corner. This penalty was particularly significant, marking the 200th time in his career that Ronaldo had stepped up to take a penalty, excluding those in shootouts. It was his 169th successful penalty conversion for both club and country, highlighting his impressive consistency from 12 yards.

Ronaldo’s second goal of the match came in the 79th minute when he finished with a low, first-time shot from close range to seal the victory for his team. The Portuguese star has now scored an incredible 79 goals in 88 appearances for Al Nassr since joining the Saudi Arabian club, with 58 of those goals coming in the Saudi Pro League. This remarkable form has helped Al Nassr remain in third place in the league, just five points behind leaders Al Ittihad.

Following the match, Ronaldo shared a celebratory image on Instagram with the caption: “3 points, 2 goals and we keep going!” His former Manchester United teammate, Rio Ferdinand, was clearly impressed by his performance, commenting, “Slow down bro,” a nod to Ronaldo’s continued excellence in front of goal.

Throughout his illustrious career, Ronaldo has scored a total of 915 goals when combining his club goals with his international tally for Portugal. His time at Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus saw him accumulate numerous records, including 118 goals for United, 450 for Madrid, and 101 for Juventus. His current tally at Al Nassr further solidifies his status as one of the greatest footballers of all time, with his relentless pursuit of goals showing no signs of slowing down.
